D'Arcy has struggled to re-discover the form that made his partnership with Brian O'Driscoll one of the most feared in world rugby during 2004.
Injuries and loss of form saw him drop off the radar somewhat, and failed to be selected in the initial Lions sqaud. He was only called into the squad as a late replacement.
