New Zealand have taken their rugby fanaticism to another level with the release of their 'bonded by blood' poster campaign.

The country that has recently seen bikinis and handbags auction for thousands of dollars once again showing their passion for the sport with a series of posters that include the DNA of the All Black players.

The limited edition Adidas posters contain a sample of every All Black player's DNA. The poster is a depiction of the players performing the Haka in the Fiordland National Park.

“Each All Black gave a small amount of blood which was then sterilised and used to create the limited-edition run of ‘Bonded by Blood’ posters,” said adidas New Zealand Marketing manager Craig Waugh.

“This year we wanted to do something different to reflect the depth of support All Blacks fans give to their team – hence the limited release of the ‘Bonded by Blood’ poster,

“adidas believes rugby is an essential part of New Zealand’s DNA and we wanted to show how the players and their supporters are inextricably linked – how supporting the All Blacks is in our blood,” Waugh said.

All Blacks Captain Richie McCaw was also excited by the concept.

“It’s a new thing. It’s something that’s pretty cool. The All Blacks team is all about combining everyone together and blood is one way to do it,” he said
