©TouchlineFlanker Alan MacDonald will make his international debut for Scotland against Argentina at Murrayfield on Saturday.

24-year-old MacDonald was one of the stars in the Scotland A side against Tonga. The Edinburgh back rower replaces John Barclay in one of three changes made by former England coach Andy Robinson. The other changes are in the backline where Thom Evans and Ben Cairns start at left wing and inside centre respectively.

Scotland are on a high following their 9-8 victory over Australia at the weekend, which was their first win against the Wallabies in 27 years. Conversely, Los Pumas are coming off their second successive defeat with a 16-33 loss to Wales on Saturday.

Rory Larson retains his place on the replacements bench as co-captain Mike Blair is still battling with an ankle injury that ruled him out of the Wallabies clash. Chris Cusiter, who has shaken off a head knock, will captain the side.
