3 new caps in England XV
Tuesday, May 22
England coach Brian Ashton has named three new caps among his run-on side for Saturday's first Test against the Springboks in Bloemfontein.
Winger Jason Robinson will captain the side, while Newcastle flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson has been included at number 10.
Jason Robinson, David Strettle and Matt Tait are the only survivors from England's final Six Nations game earlier this year.
The biggest surprise is the inclusion of fullback Mike Brown - who made only five appearance for Harlequins last season.
Ashton's counterpart, Jake White - who will only release his team at lunchtime on Wednesday - has far more experience at hand. The England outfit has just 172 caps among the 22 matchday squad members.

in fact, i'm pretty sure he retired three, maybe four years ago?
how is it that i am the only one who picked up on this?
you're the only one who picked up on it because no one really cares too much about the line up and probably didn't finish reading it...I know I didn't
