I think the Sharks played well, nearly had them on their field..
Looking better Sharks, keep it up!
Go the Bulls!!!
But i still don't see what all the fuss is about with Kanko, he missed many tackles and made a few knock ons. I really think Plumtree should at least try Alberts at no8...he is being wasted at 7.
I really do wish they were doing better. Unfortunately not. Still I did pick Drew Mitchell as my captain this week and Berrick Barnes as my kicker and Ben alexander as a prop for Super14 fantasy!!
STEFAN OFFERS NOTHING ON ATTACK! COVER WORK IS AVERAGE!
JACOBS SHOULD RETIRE!!
ODWA VERY AVERAGE BUT HE TRIES!
JP SLACK BY HIS STANDARDS BUT SOME TACKLES MADE....
WHAT A SHAME!
Goode actually managed not to get a yellow card.
To be honest, most of the Sharks team have been extremely poor and the players are just not putting up their hands.
Front Row - Rubbish, keeps walking backwards.
Bismark gives away way to many penalties.
Lock combination not good at all.
Backrow are just not working as unit.
9 - 10 combo rubbish
12 - 13 - Jacobs can run a bit the ball never gets to the wings because of rubbish passes. I don't think I have actually seen any of the shark wingers running onto a ball or any space created out wide for them. JP should just move to the bulls or the stormers where he will at least get some ball.
Back 3 - Useless, no counter attacking what so ever.
The Sharks have shown that they have more than enough ability and drive to win as they should’ve beaten Waratahs last week and Brumbies this week. Just get those bloody backliners up to scratch (then Kanko won’t need to try and run every ball up!) and get rid of handling errors! Up that tempo!
P.S. The Sharks scrum did not look that bad!!
They don't know what to do with John Smit, hooker or prop? This causes difficulties for both Bismarck and Jannie. Inconcistencies in selection for the whole front row - practically.
The locks are of no use when the rest of the scrum doesn't work + they are inexperienced.
Deysel is a 7. Alberts is a no. 8 - so, once again, inconcistencies in selection. Causes disruption.
Ruan Pienaar is played here then played there. He hasn't got any confidence because of it and now he's gone from a possible great to a very average "oh I wish things worked out differently" player.
Same was the case for Frans Steyn. Then at centre, wing, fullback & flyhalve.
Jacobs is inside centre the one week and outside centre the next.
WTF!!!???
It's the equivalent of swapping around the opening batsman and the batting lineup with the same set of players for every ODI.. possibly even worse.
Get some combinations and stick with them and use the guys in the correct positions. Do not force them to be on the pitch in a completely different position because in the end it's bad for the player and in the bigger picture, the team.
