Man, I strongly dislike Aussies. Especially the Waratahs and hearing the name Phil Waugh makes me spit & curse involunterily. I could even have a drink with a Pom if the other option was an Aussie.

Who are the refs on this round.Hope the OZ and NZ refs can be more fairer this week.
Otherwise, dirty tactics.... I suggest that some SA farmer brings in a couple of merino ewes during the game to offset these handicaps.....could be disrupting?? However it could have the opposite effect.. who knows!!!
Any other suggestions lads???

Hammers wit has just as much humour (as an Oz joke) or should I say as much class as Crocodile Dundee.

Hammer and others please watch your language.

Using spaces or *s to fool the swear filter is not acceptable. Repeated offences will force me to suspend accounts.

Please keep it tidy.

Eish - It was just to good not to post that Gareth.....I'm sure you had a quiet chuckle there as well.
I'll stop bypassing the filters...

...and I missed it....

Can't they introduce an appeal system like in cricket? The captain gets 2 appeals in a match, sent to a panel of three independent experts/tv refs who make an instant independent decision (i.e penalty try yes or no), majority vote 3-0 or 2-1 wins!! Sharks would've had first victory!!!

I really hope to see the Bulls girls this weekend at Loftus...well on TV i wish i could go see the game live!!!GO BULLS Prediction bulls to win with at least 39 points Very Happy

I think Scalk burger had the right idea. If the ref screws you just hit the guy. Just joking, but it was funny to see him actually take a half swing at a ref. Maybe the sharks should hire Pieter Van Zyl (The guy who tackled the ref a couple of years back against NZ). They were robbed big time, not just at the end, but the whole game. Paul marks was terrible.

Malboer or is it mampoer, most of us would rather see the Blue Bull Sheilas but the ...Canes might prefer to see the sheep........sorry bottom-line joke. Sorry Kiwi's getting mixed up with your neighbours across the sea

Goubutt... you must be from Durbs.

I reckon the Stormers should start with naqelevuki again. the oke had a brilliant game. deserves another start.

Where can one find out the referee allocation for the up-coming matches. Predicting the game is this competition is rather like a lottery...it's tough luck and adds another unknown element when you get Paul Marks, Bryce Lawrence or Keith Brown and good luck when you get Mark Lawrence, Jonathan Kaplan,Marius Jonker, and Craig Joubert...especially for SA teams. Why can't refs from unrelated countries be used to erase these questionable attitudes and quell unbiased decisions???

By Unbiased - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
It is a tough one , I havent been able to get aal the games right yet . There have been a lot of "upsets" in this competition so far.

My prediction
Crusaders by 5
Waratahs by 4
Sharks by 3 ( I believed they have turned around)
Bulls by 25
Stormers by 11
Reds by 5

Crusaders to win by 13+

By MrSmithMachine - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
At least we know one ref who won't be working this weekend. Paul Marks got told by the SANZAR ref bosses that he <quote> will not officiate in the near future </quote>.
Finally some sense of sanity prevails when it comes to referees being punished for being blind!

By mcpoo - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
Doesnt help the Sharks though... who knows, maybe he would have given the Lions a good win at the expense of another team!!! Seriously though, good on them. If you are that rubbish you should go back to school.. simple. How did he get there in the 1st place? Surely you cant be good in Prov level then be THAT rubbish when you have to step up?

By green - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
SA has four international refs, NZ has two and Aus one. Now that says something to me.

By Unbiased - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
What are the sharks doing ?! John Smit is a Hooker, I thought we established this. Ben Alexander is going to kill him. Arghhhh!!! Evil or Very Mad

By brettroux - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
pulling for all the sa sides, come on sharks, last chance this weekend! bulls will bully.

By Javelin - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
Adam Ashley-Cooper to deny the Sharks a win with a cynical slap-down in the 78th minute, only for the ref to just give a yellow and no penalty try.

By guns - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
Unless John Smit and Beast mentally prep themselves as if they were playing a Lions game or International against Kiwis, yes he will get smoked at prop... Hopefully not!

By Hammer - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
Unbiased - If Smitty was a hooker - PDV would have picked him up a long long time ago Very Happy

By Boesman - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
When will they ever learn. Smit is a hooker and Jannie needs more time on the field to be effective. Jannie made a mistake going to Durban. He was a very good tighthead when he left Bloem and is now just a shadow of his former self.

By sebastienchabal - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
Agreed Boesman....John leads and plays best at no 2...some people are as blind as a bat and suckers for punishment. Sharkies (15 men if we are lucky ,could be 13 men again) versus 17 men (including ref and selector). Will have trouble up front again especially now with new scrumming rules.Sharkies always seem to be overstocked in one area and instead of this being an advantage it has the opposite effect. This also applies to the no9/no10 issue.

By Unbiased - Castle Braai recommendations: 0
@ Hammer , I don't think Smitty is PDV's tipe . Laughing
