Scotland
Paterson in line for 100th Cap
Tuesday, February 09
Chris Paterson will become the first Scottish player to earn 100 Test caps when starts against Wales in the Six Nations game at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.
Paterson - who is also Scotland's leading points scorer with 750 points - made his debut in 1999.
Scotland coach Andy Robinson has made a number of changes to the side which lost to France last time out - including the axing of Phil Godman in favour of Dan Parks.
Chris Cusiter replaces Mike Blair in the starting line-up while Rory Lamont returns on the right wing with his brother, Sean, switching to outside centre to replace Max Evans.
The big news is the return of prop Euan Murray who sat out last week due to his religious beliefs.
Paterson will become the thirteenth player to earn 100 Test caps when he joins George Gregan, Justin Leonard, Fabien Pelous, Phillipe Sella, George Smith, Brian O'Driscoll, Gareth Thomas, Stephen Larkham, Percy Montgomery, David Campese and Alessandro Troncon on the illustrious list.
