Los Pumas beef up pack
Wednesday, November 25
Argentina have made six changes – four in the pack – for Saturday’s Test against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Los Pumas coach Santiago Phelan has beefed up his pack with Marcos Ayerza and Alberto Vernet Basualdo coming into the front row and Manuel Carizza and Alejandro Campos starting at lock and flank respectively.
Phelan has also tweaked his backline in an attempt to break his side’s losing streak following back-to-back defeats to England and Wales. Alfredo Lalanne slots in at scrumhalf and Federico Martin Aramburu comes onto the wing.
Argentina have a great track record at Murrayfield having won the last three matches at the famous venue but Scotland are on a high following their shock victory over the Wallabies last weekend.
