Ralepelle's injury nightmare continues
Tuesday, November 24
Springbok hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle's injury streak continues to worsen with the news that the Blue Bulls hooker will have to sit out for three months after aggrevating a foot injury on tour with the Boks earlier this month.
Ralepelle - who missed the latter stages of the Currie Cup with a stress fracture - was rushed back to captain the Springboks against Leicester, but limped off early on when his injury flared up.
The young Springbok midweek captain will go in for surgery today and is expected to be out for a minimum of three months.
The news will come as a major blow to his Springbok and Bulls starting aspirations following Gary Botha's return to Loftus and Derick Kuun's continued good form.
The stress fracture in the foot is the latest in a long string of serious injuries that has hampered Ralepelle's career since he broke on to the domestic and international scene.
The Vodacom Bulls reassembled at Loftus Versfeld on Monday to start their preparation for 2010’s Super 14 tournament and apart from Ralepelle’s stress fracture there aren’t any other injury concerns in the camp.

Prove to the critics how good he is and develop as a player.
There is an old Afrikaans saying, vroeg ruip vroeg vrot.
or, Jy kan nie vir hom ruip drik nie.
For the english out there, Early ripe early rotten.
SA Rugby and politics is damaging his career to fill the needs of selfish coaches and rugby administrators.
