Brussow staying a Cheetah

Wednesday, November 04 The Cheetahs have issued a statement on their website confirming that star flanker Heinrich Brussow will remain at the union till the end of 2010.

Free State Rugby Union president, Mr Harold Verster, ended speculation that Brussow would be leaving the franchise next year and confirmed that he is contracted until the end of 2010.

There is no reason for this team to do well in the S14 next year, there are some great players in the Cheetahs side!

yea -hopefully for once they can take some currie cup form into the super 14 and do well -its bizzare how they always doe well at currie cup even when the boks are back and suffer at super 14 - same goes for the stormers - hope the fairly good currie cup campaign can cont. as well - technically speaking it should be a good year for sa teams - if you think of the rankings from currie cup being bulls, cheetahs, sharks, stormers...i would back all 4 teams to make the top half of the table, and hopefully 2 in the semis

Cheetahs haven't learned to travel yet, and in the past they always had Noel Oelshig on hand to give away a last minute penalty to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

They'll cause a good few problems for all the teams next year...
