Joubert to referee third final

SANZAR have announced the match officials for Saturday's Super Rugby final between the Waratahs and Crusaders in Sydney.

South Africa's Craig Joubert will be the man in the middle when Australia and New Zealand's conference winners do battle at the the ANZ Stadium.

Australia's Steve Walsh and James Leckie will be the assistant referees, while their countryman George Ayoub has been appointed as the television match official for the match.

This will be the third time that Joubert will referee a Super Rugby Final. He was also in charge of the 2010 final between the Bulls and the Stormers in Soweto and last year's showdown between the Chiefs and the Brumbies in Hamilton.
