Cooper to wait on scan results
Scans on Monday will determine the extent of Wallabies fly-half Quade Cooper's shoulder injury, the Reds have announced.
The pivot sustained the damage during Saturday's Super Rugby defeat to the Rebels, with the initial diagnosis of a grade three AC separation ruling him out for a month, and so sidelining him for Australia's June Tests against France.
"Quade had X-rays following the game and was cleared of any bone damage," said Reds boss Richard Graham in a statement.
"He will have an MRI on Monday and following that will consult the specialist to see what is the extent of the injury.
"At this stage we know he has a Grade 3 AC joint injury and we are hopeful it ends there."
