Title can be ours - Palu
Powerful Waratahs number eight Wycliff Palu claims it's time his side fulfilled their potential and claimed the Super Rugby title.
Michael Cheika's men have won all bar one of their games to date - the sole loss coming courtesy of rivals the Brumbies - and have racked up 130 points from four fixtures.
Palu, playing in his 100th Super Rugby match as the 'Tahs travel to face league leaders the Sharks on Saturday, reckons now is the time to seize their opportunity.
"We've got a good team, a good roster - on paper," Paul told WA Today.
"Now it comes down to what we do on the field.
"But everyone understands the game plan better and the way the coaching staff want us to play and want us to train as well.
"Once you identify that, you can really attack and I think you're starting to see that more this year."
Indeed, after featuring in last week's 32-8 demolition of the Rebels from the bench, Palu is excited to start against Jake White's high-flying charges in Durban come Saturday.
"You always want to be starting, but it was good to freshen up," added Palu.
"The Sharks get a lot of momentum through their forward pack so, like with most South African sides, it's going to be a pretty tough game this week.
"If we're going to go close, we're going to have to front up in the pack."
