Burger captains Stormers, de Jongh out

Springbok Schalk Burger will captain the Stormers in their pre-season friendly against the Kings in Port Elizabeth on Friday.

Argentine second-row Manuel Carizza makes his first appearance from the franchise having shaken off a groin niggle, replacing Ruan Botha in the engine room.

South Africa captain Jean de Villiers is rested for the fixture, but Jaco Taute lines up at full-back alongside Scott van Breda and Kobus van Wyk on the wings.

Fellow Springbok midfielder Juan de Jongh has also been ruled out for a minimum of six weeks with a knee injury.
