Western Province boss Allister Coetzee is set to use his returning Springboks in Saturday's Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban.

Lock Eben Etzebeth, flank Siya Kolisi, number eight Duane Vermeulen and centres Jean de Villiers and Juan de Jongh were all at WP training on Monday after returning from Rugby Championship duty with the Springboks.

WP are unbeaten after nine matches and are one point ahead of the Sharks on the table as they head into the final round of league matches before the semi-finals.

Coetzee admitted he faces a difficult choice as he considers his selection options ahead of this weekend's match which is crucial as the winner will finish at the top of the table, which means a possible home final if the team wins its semi-final.

"It is never an easy thing when you arrive at the stage of the season when it is time to change the team again to accommodate the Boks, and that is particularly so when the players have put their bodies on the line to take you to the top of the log with one game to play," he told Supersport

"But if you look at it another way, the Springboks are coming back, and you really can't penalise them for being good enough to be Springboks. I will always choose the best possible side, and everyone understands the policy and the culture we have developed.

"I think it is very important in terms of our culture to have honesty and integrity, and everyone knows it's not about individuals. The team comes first."

He said he spoke to the returning Boks and all of them are keen to play a part in their bid to defend their title.

Coetzee is likely to pick Etzebeth, De Jongh and Kolisi, who should start at blindside flank, with Deon Fourie remaining at openside where he performed well for most of the competition while Jean de Villiers and Duane Vermeulen are set to play off the replacements bench.
