Bulls suffer injury setback
The Blue Bulls will be without Jean Cook, Frik Kirsten and Callie Visagie for Saturday's Currie Cup match with the Golden Lions in Pretoria.
Cook (broken thumb) will be out of action for six weeks, while Kirsten (ankle) is expected to be out for two weeks.
Visagie will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the ankle injury he picked up in the win over Griquas on Friday.
Team doctor Org Strauss also confirmed that Akona Ndungane would be doubtful for the rest of the week, as the veteran wing recovers from a hamstring strain, with a call on his participation in Saturday's clash expected on Wednesday.
Tony Jantjies (back), Jono Ross (shoulder), Rudy Paige (shoulder), Waylon Murray (neck) and Francois Venter (mouth) will only train on Tuesday, Strauss said, but all should be available to play.
