The Hurricanes have made only two changes to their starting XV to face the Highlanders in Wellington on Saturday.

Wing Alapati Leiua has been promoted back into the Hurricanes starting side on the right wing ahead of Matt Proctor.

Experienced loose forward Faifili Levave comes in at blindside flank in the place of Brad Shields, who drops to the bench alongside Proctor.

On the bench, Jack Lam returns to the 22 after debuting for Samoa in the June break

Players unavailable this week include Tim Bateman (knee), Jeffery Toomaga-Allen (knee), Motu Matu'u (arm), Tusi Pisi (hand) and Ardie Savea (ankle).

These two sides have met each other 20 times since the competition began, with the Hurricanes achieving 12 wins and the Highlanders eight. Since 2007 though, there has never been more than a seven point margin in the score line.
