New deal for Guildford
All Blacks backs Israel Dagg and Zac Guildford have confirmed they will remain at the remain at the Crusaders until the end of next season.
Despite having intially looked to make a move overseas, Guildford has confirmed he will play for the Crusaders next year and will also be available for Hawke's Bay in the ITM Cup.
24-year-old Guildford has been a Crusaders since 2010, and is set to play his 58th game this weekend against the Chiefs.
"I am excited to be extending my contract with the Crusaders for another year," said Guildford.
"I love playing for them. The Crusaders are like a family and they have been really supportive of me during my career.
"It is important to help repay that loyalty and I hope that I can do that on the paddock for them."
Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder is delighted with Guildford's decision to stay in Christchurch.
"Zac is an important asset to the Crusaders. He has terrific speed, an impressive work rate and a knack for finding the gap.
"Despite his off-field issues he is a key part of the Crusaders family and we are delighted that he is staying with us."
28-Test All Black Dagg has also confirmed he will see out his contract, which has one year still to run after being linked to other Super Rugby teams.
