Three weeks for Nonu

Highlanders centre Ma'a Nonu has been suspended for three weeks after being sent-off for a dangerous tackle against the Crusaders on Saturday.

The SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Jannie Lubbe SC has accepted a guilty plea from Nonu for contravening Law 10.4 (j) Dangerous Tackling - Lifting Tackling after he was red carded by the referee Steve Walsh during the recent match. 

Nonu has been suspended from all forms of the game for a period of three weeks from 29 June 2013 up to and including 21 July 2013.

The incident occurred in the 58th minute of the match between the Highlanders and Crusaders.
