Ludeke hails Steyn
Bulls coach Frans Ludeke praised the efforts of his number ten, Morne Steyn, after the pivot kicked his side to victory over the Sharks.
Steyn slotted all 18 of his team's points - including a 75th-minute penalty - as they downed the men from Durban 18-16 on Saturday.
Opinions on Steyn have often been divided, but Ludeke is in no doubt over the fly-half's influence.
"He's been brilliant this season," said Ludeke.
"He's definitely a game breaker, which is what you need...at the end of a game, pressure kick, the guy's got the mental ability to slot it over."
Having endured a rough 2012 in which he lost his Springbok berth to Patrick Lambie as even his usually reliable goal-kicking went astray, the 28-year-old has come out with guns blazing this term, with a marked return to form.
"Sometimes I suppose you need to go through a patch to come back to your best," mused Ludeke.
"We're all glad for him. It's amazing to see him work, he's got an amazing work ethic."
