Savea boosts Hurricanes

The Hurricanes welcome back All Blacks wing Julian Savea to their starting line-up for Saturday's Super Rugby match against the Bulls in Pretoria.

Savea, charged with assaulting his partner late last month, ruled himself out of the Hurricanes' 18-16 loss to the Stormers in Round 11.

The other changes made by coach Mark Hammett sees Tusi Pisi run out in the number 12 jersey in place of Tim Bateman, while Ash Dixon will make his first Super Rugby start with hooker Motu Matu'u out injured.

The Hurricanes will continue a five-two split on the bench this weekend, with changes including the return of both Reggie Goodes and Jack Lam to the matchday 22.
