Le Roux to leave?
It seems the fine form of wing Willie le Roux is attracting attention from clubs in Japan and France, according to one report in South Africa on Tuesday.
The Cheetahs star has sealed back-to-back man-of-the-match awards over recent weeks but has been catching the eye for over two years now.
According to Volkslbad, Le Roux is in demand and despite his union, Griquas, set to offer him improved terms when his contract runs out, clubs with greater financial clout are apparently circling.
"Willie's contract with Griquas ends on October 31. We'll definitely make a big offer to retain his services. However, other clubs from outside are making offers worth millions of rands which will make it very tough for us to keep him," Griquas CEO, Arni van Rooyen told the newspaper.
23-year-old Le Roux was recently left out of Springbok head coach Heyneke Meyer's training squad that met in Cape Town from April 14 to 16.
