According to reports, the Southern Kings have signed Toulouse hooker Virgil Lacombe ahead of their debut season in Super Rugby.

The 28-year-old, who has fallen behind Gary Botha and Christopher Tolofua in the pecking order, is poised to join the South African side.

Rugbyrama reveal that Lacombe will move on December 31 on a deal that runs until July 2013.

Lacombe began his career with Toulouse in 2004 before playing one season with Brive last term.
