Taute prefers full-back role
Oct 25,2012
Springbok centre Jaco Taute has indicated that he would like to play full-back for the Stormers in next year's Super Rugby tournament.
Taute, who will be on loan at the Stormers from the Lions, said although he has no qualms about playing centre, his primary aim was to be considered for the Stormers at full-back.
"I don't have a fixed position, but would really like to be considered at full-back," he told Die Burger newspaper.
"Obviously I'd also play centre if required. My strong point at full-back is my attacking game.
"I can also play a tactical game because I mainly played fly-half at school."
The 21-year-old said although he is set to return to the Lions after the Super Rugby competition he could extend his stay with the Cape Town outfit.
"My contract with the Lions expires next season," he explained.
"So I could stay on with the Stormers if I wanted to. But we'll see how things go in 2013."

Chippo I also think 15 is his best spot. Anyhow Taute knows where he wants to play and the Stormers have indicated ths is where they want to play him. In addition I beleive he is need at 15 for the Boks. So all is well.
Saffex however thinks he knows better than Taute as to where the said Taute likes to play. Hahahahahahaha

I also prefer him at fullback,
He has awesome pace, power and counter attacking skills.
Also a fearless tackler!
Not convinced about him at center. Im not sure that he has the required hands to play at 13.
