Brussow out for six months

Cheetahs flank Heinrich Brussow has been ruled out for six months after suffering a shoulder injury against Griquas.

It's a major blow to the Cheetahs' Currie Cup hopes, as the discarded Springbok  is now the team's fifth loose forward to be sidelined for the season.

Brussow will now undergo surgery to the shoulder in a bid to return to action as early as possible for next year's Super Rugby competition.
