Former Stormers hooker Pieter Dixon could be reunited with Luke Watson as he contemplates a move back to South Africa from Bath.

Tom Bradshaw of the Bath Chronicle reports Dixon’s contract expires with the English side in June and it is unlikely that it will be renewed. The front rower is reviewing his options and says there has been some interest from back home.

It is understood that a move to the Eastern Province Kings is one potential option, a move which would see Dixon team up once again with Watson, his former skipper at Bath.

Dixon, who turns 34 in October and has played in the English Premiership for the last six seasons, said: "I'm definitely looking at playing another two years. At the moment, we haven't discussed anything with Bath yet.

"There is a little bit of interest back in South Africa – nothing concrete – but I have to look at my options.

"If Bath come to me I will take a look at them first. I think anyone coming to the end of their contract has to take a look at their options and see where they stand.”
