Ah the good old Bulls
March 16, 2013, 14:09:30

One always seems to have to endure one of those moments in a season when the Bulls dont turn up. After achieveing so much the week before to beat the form side away from home, they turned up against the Saders with nothing to offer.

The Bulls forwards failed to make an impact and were starved of possession. I am struggling to work out what Wepner, Jeandre Kruger and Stegman add to the equation. If the Bulls want to dominate a side like the Saders then they need to pick more physical players. Jeandre Kruger has had one good game in the last 6 months, Stegman has never offered much and Wepner is not S15 standard.

The Bulls should start the better ball playing Chiliboy at 2, they need Willemse to partner Flip at lock and they need to move Botha to 6 with Hattingh at 7.

The Bulls were crap today, with Morne being the worst of the lot. He showed his soft underbelly as he does at times when games are physical.

In the forwards Flip, Spies and Botha had solid the backs, Morne was poor and the rest spent the match tackling or ending up out of position because of injuries.

Crap performance by the Bulls, they need to learn to front up like the Kings do. Kings have nothing in the tank but play with heart. The Bulls did not turn up today. Looks like Olivier is out, which will at least give young Serfontein a start.
