small bulls pack struggling
March 16, 2013, 10:06:10

The ignorant commentators keep talking about the big bulls pack. The bulle are around the 890 mark which is small.

I am not too chuffed re the Stormers being at at 909 kg and look forward to our 940 mobile pack being on the field. Namely Kitshoff, Tiaan, Maleherbe, Etzebeth, Bekker, Schalk, Vemuelen and Elstadt. There is not a pack in the competition that could live with them. If you want to speed up the loose trio play Deon Fourie at 6.

Why the bulle are playing that waste of space Stegmann I cant understand. They need another power mobile lock like Etzebeth. Ou spiesies has also reverted to type and hopefully he will get a rocket at half time.

I watched Jan Serfontein and I have to say this guy looks ready for Super15. He is a very smart player and has the strength to play at this level now.

Bulle please get a captain. The limp wristed spiesies simply is too passive.in his play and as captain.

Where is Hougaard - is he on the bench? Just wondering why he didnt come on when Akona was injured.

Come on bulle time to arise and win this game.

Just also compare the stupidity of kirchner with the play of Dagg. He simply runs the ball up direct into the opposition time and time again.

Come on bulle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bulle have to understand the Beeno lesson that forward domination is a non negoitiable requirement.

Against the crusties one does not want to be on the back foot. crusties need to be on the back foot and their backs will not function as well.

If the crusrties face the Stormers pack I mentioned you will see the difference. The Stormers knock the guys back in the tackle. The bulle go backwards in the tackle. I am looking forward to see how the crusties go against 940kg of Stormer might. Ouch!!!!

Yeah the Bulls have their pack all wrong. They dont have a big boy amongst the loosies and Wepner is even worse than Liebenberg as a player.

Jeandre Kruger needs to be dropped he adds nothing to engine room and provides nothing special in th line-outs. One never sees him in general play. I also dont rate Stegman.

I like the Bulls young props Mellett and Frik Kirsten, but they need a fully fit Chiliboy back in the mix. They need to select the young Paul Willemse to partner Flip at lock, to give the side some grunt.

They need to move Botha back to 6 and play Hattingh at 7.

The Bulls pack should be 1. Mellett 2. Chiliboy 3. Kirsten 4. Flip 5. Willemse 6. Botha 7. Hattingh 8. Spies

Hougaard was on the bench, but as the commentators said, he is struggling with an ankle injury. But hey Boklogic reckons he is fit!!!

Snapster I would like to see that pack operating.

one thing however is that chilli boy is hardly better than Wepener. You are up a tree re chilli boy and have always been.

The oaks doubting all this, like ou maaaaik who thinks size doesnt matter, need only to consider ab show pony Read. In a tight match he disappears as we saw at dunedin and twicks. Allow the ab or crusties forwards to get on the front foot and he plays like a back and superficial observers imaging him to be a great number 8. The small bulle pack was outmuscled and need to take remedial steps.

Which brings me back to Spies. The bulle must strengthen their pack and then allow Pierre to paly a loose roving game which he ismuch more suited to as is wee read.

If you look at the Kings their pack lacks clout and Solomons needs to consider this. Play that black lock (Adonga?) at 7 when Darren Nel returns.

Oh how simple it is to solve so many of these coaches problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with you on one point Beeno. Spies needs to be allowed to play HIS type of game to his strengths rather than being forced to play a tight game.....as pioneered by Zinzan Brooke.

Thanks Poly I always knew if you nz oaks hung around you would begin to grasp the game!!!!!!!!

Yes its a bit like Hougaard being made to model Du Preez and being stuffed up.

I hear Olivier, Ndungane and hougaard are all on way back to SA.

Bulle should have Venter and Jan at center. Jurgen could ahve a shot at 15. who are their other wings?

Hey Beano, you clown.

Still stirring those Bulls supporters i see despite the Stormers being totally crap this year. See you in a couple of weeks when the Stormers become our latest victims.

Seven times Super Rugby Champions have given you all a head start but getting down to business now starting by giving the pride of South Afrikaan rugby, the Bulls a good hammering .

Right royal thrashing awaiting the Kings next week as well and expect a clean sweep of all the Sth Afrikaan teams in the next four weeks as you've got to admit they're just plodders.

The Kiwis will show you how it's done so take note and by the end of the season you may have learnt something apart from the aimless kicking and dry conservative rugby that you're all famous for.

black udder we have just beaten your top side the wee chiefies with a hugely depleted side so you must be crap beyond words.

The bulle are choosing the wrong pack of forwards and paid the price but should account for the wee crusties at loftus provided they have learnt from their mistakes.

If we face you with our side at full strength we will account for you as well - but here we need a decent ref and NOT the usual cheating nz ref. We were robbed blind last year when we got blown for offsides continually and the TV didnt even show the replays. Bad stuff from the kiwi mongs.

So dont get too full of yourselves black udder. Remeber twicks and dunedin and remain humble. My the poms gave you twits a right thrashing!! Bwahahahahahaha

Beano you sound worried. Expect another arse kicking like last year when we put you in your place,

The Chiefs game looked abit suspect to me now you mention it . Especially how it was brought to an abrupt halt by some mong South Afrikaan ref so funny you should mention refs.

Hopefully we get some neutral refs introduced soon as we can't have South AfriKaans continually corrupting the game with their constant whistle blowing ,overpenalising and yellow carding. Makes you wonder if the SA refs get their accreditation from a box of cereal to be honest.

PUT US IN OUR PLACE  -HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We outscored you in tries but were blown out the game by a bent nz refs.

As forthe chiefies they must be your most crooked side - endless professional fouls. Red cards nexr time I say.

Kiwi refs have a bad name and everyone knows that. Ours are genrally well respected fact.

You make the biggest crook ever your ref of the year Bwahahahaahahahhahaha

Beano you were rubbish last year and have gotten worse since then i'm afraid. Regarding the refereeing , the difference is your teams are kak in the first place but if you need a scapegoat blame the Kiwi. I don't mind . But you should try not to compare our fine upstanding NZ refs with the cheating yarpy ones that have admitted to cheating in the past .

black adder shut up! nah im only joking just the pain of  bulls surporter knowing that we got truely and utterly smased again at the saders! brings back horried memories of the 36-0 game a few years back! but benno you say that the bulls pack is to small ;) well who did you lose to again? fact dont lie my friend you lost however i will agree with you and say that fuck me! the bulls pack needs sourting out! i agree with saf about young paul however saf you must understand that there is a lot of touch and go about his disipline and if you say that there is nothing wrong re look at the baby boks game! lots of pens and fight down to that boy! he is a bortha for sure but he needs to learn to get that agression in check like bortha did! benno you say that chili boy has no skill at hooker but not long ago he was number 2 hooker for SA i dont believe i have seen a stomers hooker in the running for a bok place in a while! ahhhh of course they must be injuryed ;) dw mate when your 940kg pack is back and your still getting beaten then ill like to hear whats the problem :)

Keegan wake up. We had a very bad opeing game.and were missing a number of players. your wee bulle packed would get smashed by the Stormers full pack and you know it.

Tiaan is part of the Bok squad but didnt tour becuase of injury. Chilli is a quota player and nowhere in the class of Bissie or Strauss and I believe Tiaan as well. why do you think Wepener gets a game ahead of him.

Beeno if you read super sport! i know reading is hard but you can do it :) you would know bulls are not 100% ok with chilliboys injury he picked up against the force! which is why he has not started the last to games! this is the same for hougie. However chilliboy is not a quota players i can think of better postions to have  black player in as a qutoe wing/fullback/center/ lossies! i agree he isnt no bissie true! what i want to know beeno is if the full "mighty" stormers pack gets destoryed by say the saders or brumbies! what will your excuss be then? will it be the mean old ref or the mean old TMO? what i would like you to do is when the stompies lose is put your hands up and say! man we played shit! or man we just didnt do that extra bit! not make up reasons!
