SHARKS showing no signs of a finalist team!!
March 09, 2013, 20:02:43

Jordaan has been piss poor in the first half. 2 forward passes and obstruction running. Looks like he is trying far too hard to regain his form of last season and it is not going well for him.

Lambie has lost his attacking nouse for the time being. Most noteably in the 30th minute. SP Marais kicks aimlessley down field into the arms of Lambie..Lambie has at least 6 guys back with him and chooses to kick!! Ball runs over the dead ball line! Lambie of old would have carried that up and look to cut the defence open. Cant help but feel he is trying to impress Meyer!

We have been 3 metres out on at least 4 occasions now and cant get over the line..Flinging the ball laterally and hoping something opens up is not gona work..

Sharks are looking KAK again!

Not looking great, the backline seems devoid of any brain matter.

Michalak looks like he is being missed.

Goosen played much better earlier today than what Lambie is currently playing. Goosen is playing his natural game and Lambie is playing Meyers game.

May need to bring on pensioner Butch James

Useless performance..Not 1 good thing about that from the Sharks. SA's worst team at the moment in my opinion. Get over the line twice for no tries and can not get a backline movement started up for shit!! Forwards lack any punch without Alberts and Deysel..

Really not happy with the Sharks today. Frustrating and shit!! From 1 to 15!!!

If this is the way Lambie wants to play, I embrace Goosen!!!

The best Sa side thsi week end so far and likely to be after the bulle match was the Mighty Stormers.

So I invite you two( boklogic and sharkbok) to join the winners. I do not of course invite that inveterate guppy blowhard rooitwit who has in any event disappeared - under a mountain of egg. Hahahahahahahaha

Two best centers on show were Jean and Allende.  Ooops I might burst ou snapsters anti jean bubble.

Mallet suggested the sharkies would have a hard time of it. One reason was the hugely psysical match against the Mighty Stormers.

Of course the queens are playing every match as if it were their last.

I pray Tim Whitehead's arm miraculously heals by next week and he takes over the 12 Jersey!! Steyn is not the answer to 12. He must play 15. I really wanted him to be a good 12 but it seems he is getting worse!! Lacks that speed off the mark and eye for a gap that a good centre, like JDV has..Whitehead is more in that mould. His speed may not be awesome but he can create space or take a gap if its there. Frans is crash boom bang!!

Sharks can be confident this week that they had the 2 worst centres on display!! Fuck I am so pissed off after watching that. I thought this week the Sharks would come right and start scoring a few tries..We started like a house on fire and I thought Kings were fucked but we still cant score tries!!

Boklog I dont want to make excuses for the sharkies but lets face it the Mighty Stormers worked them over and they were bust today.

But the queens are a desparate side running on adrenalin. How long can it last?

Maybe Plum should try Frans at 15. He has a huge boot and is very solid on the tackle. Whitehead is an unlikely saviour.

But lets be honest. Sharks can play better than this. Also, give a little credit to the queens.

I am very worried about the Sharks backline.  Reinach was a dead loss today - he was really bad knocking on balls behind mauls etc.   Lambie was really a poor replica of what a creative flyhalf should be - he kicked too much - especially if the players outside of him can perform.   And then we have Francois Steyn - of one thing I am more convinced after todays game - he is not a centers ass - or perhaps he is one.   The Sharks and the Springboks cannot afford having a snail in the backline.

Reinach was shit! Beside knocking balls on, he through a critical forward pass to Ndungane and made a few incorrect decisions.

Frans Steyn looked to cut back at time we should have gone wide. To be honest, I do not agree with Beeno's statement "give credit to the Queens!" They deserve no credit. Sharks got over their tryline 3 times and everytime was disallowed and rightfully so. Mvovo failing to got low to the deck as every winger should, Jordaan's forward pass to Ludik and there was 1 other. Then of course, the first 10 mins of the game, we were camped in the Kings 22 and could not get over their line. We had the opportunity to demolish them today. Yes, they defended "well" in the one on one tackles but Sharks made it far too easy!

When Deysel left the field, we had no penetration. Coetzee, Franco and the front row needed to stand up.

We got the win but Sharks were abysmal!! One thing I do agree with from Beeno is that Kings are fired up. You can only play on passion so long until you need skill..I expect their season to go down the shitter from now..All the signs were there today. On another day, Sharks would have put 40 against them today but they decided to play their worst game in years!! Lambie needs to forget what Meyer wants and play his game!
