saw highlights of this game and it was a pretty good run for both teams, but especially the crusaders frontline players.

waratahs couldnt really get started in the first half, even though folau was his usual great self. but the expereince from the cryusaders was too much for the warasths new team.
i will say now though that i am expecting the waratahs to b e the most improved team in the comp for 2013 and folau will be the spXV rookie lof the year easy.

once the crusaders benched their top dogs at halftime, the warathas were able to fight back, but the saders did enough to hold them off.

i found the crusaders to be playing with more urgency then any other preseason game, but that might be due to the waraths making a few splashes during the preseason, especially with the folau hype.
but this was also a lot of crusdaers first hit out for the year and its good for them as now they have had their cobwebs completely blown out of their system.

Agree re Folau turning out to be a key player for Tahs this year.

IF Tahs can keep egos in check and key players on field the top spot in Oz conf is going to be pretty tight between the Reds / Tahs / Brumbies.

Re Folau - already looking like best league convert in history - now to get Inglis across... unfortunately I think hes contracted to rabbits till 2017.....

I relly am delighted that you are back with us.    Hope you had a wonderful festive season.

Two things - you may have heard that the Referee you dislike most - Kaplan -  is retiring the end of this year.  Serondly - the Res are goin to het on over the Brumbie tomorrow and will get the better of the Waratahs - Folau and all.
