Now I know it is just a warm-up game that is not only about the result etc etc, but seriously, how is it that a team "ready" to compete in their first Super Rugby tournament, has lost to a SERIOUSLY depleted Lions team, and then, in their final warm up game, have lost to a middle of the road Currie Cup side? Forget all the reasons, and politics and everything else, this Kings side is going to be an embarrassment. The players and even the coaches in the Kings squad, are going to get humiliated week in and week out, and all just because of a political game. I used to get upset at the fact that the Kings would be playing in Super Rugby even though they did not deserve to be there, but now I am just starting to feel sorry for them.

The kings only saving grace is that their first game is at home, against the Force, who are the weakest Auzzy team according to the betting sites. They might be semi-competative in that game, but I reckon they'll still lose, and that will be the high point of their season. From then on it is going to be one hiding after another for the rest of the tournament.
