Worst prediction and worst player call of 2012.
January 01, 2013, 17:23:25

Worst prediction      * Sapp's prediction that the Poms were going to humiliate the Boks.*

Worst Player Call    *Sapp's insistence that Greyling was the best substitute for the Beast"*

Now this fool is back in the predicting business.

Aahh But he had a few substitutes....comes with being a toss between Nostradamus or a World Authority...then again as Shotgun, there should be no surprises, a stray pellet is bound to hit the mark for which he'll claim credibility.

Actually quite funny if you ask me.

True to form good old Moffie lying through his teeth

First off I said the Boks would lose to England, humiliation never came into the equation - hell we scraped that one as we did against a depleted Irish side and nobodies Scotland - but good old Moffie thinks Meyer did us proud - go figure

My back-up for Beast has always been Coenie, Kitshoff or Marcel v/d Merwe

I gave up on Greyling more than a year ago but you are too bloody stupid to realise that........instead you choose to bang the same bullshit drum.

My prediction is Steph du Toit to partner Etzebeth and I am going to rub your stupid nose in it and you are the stupid clown who had Steph du Toit as a baby, not up to a mans job.

Denise my guess is that a stupid twat like you, does not even know who Steph du Toit is, at least your aged friend knows who he is.

You bare faced liar....when Meyer put Greyling in the squad I strongly questioned that....and you came out strongly in support of Greyling. But hey that's a strategy, when you get it wrong just lie about it.

Rubbish Moffie, I have always rated Greyling as a player and would therefore not have had an issue with him being included in the squad, had Kitshoff, v/d Merwe and Coenie not been available. He is certainly a better call than hasbeens like Steenkamp and CJ.

One certainty is that I, yes I would never have selected Greyling ahead of Kitshoff, Marcel v/d Merwe and Coenie as my back-ups to Beast - FACT, so dont bloody lie about who my selections are.

Greyling was part of my extended squad more than a year ago. No way in hell would he ever feature ahead of Beast and Coenie over that time and certainly not ahead of Kitshoff and v/d Merwe this year.

Only bloody liar here is you. Go check all my selections over 2012 and you wont find Grelying in my squad.

My props all year have been Beast, Jannie, Mujati, Coenie, Malherbe, Kitshoff and Marcel v/d Merwe - FACT

I guess it was a bad set of options....lie through your teeth, or look like a fool. You chose to lie....Coenie was injured at that time, so you couldn't have been choosing him could you? But don't let logic get in your way.

South Africa's Coenie Oosthuizen to miss rest of Tests against England

• Springboks' second injury blow after Zane Kirchner ruled out
• Dean Greyling called in take the place of Oosthuizen at prop

That was the point when I raised the Greyling issue and you strongly defended him. He was in your squad right there. Serial liars usually give themselves away I find.

Mozart

We all made some bad calls in 2012 and I will add some comments on those:-

*   Morne Steyn at flyhalf - he really was bad this year

*  Taute and  Engelbrecht  at 13

*   De Jongh at 13 - probably the worst call  of all

*   Jantjies at flyhalf

*   Steenkamp and Van der Linde as props

*   Hougaard - even worse than Morne Steyn;

Meyer also made some atorcious selection errors by using the Springbok squad as a revolving door for Bulls players - mostly failures.

Since statistically there are more failures from the existing expereienced players than from the rookies - lets start off this year by not pointing fingers at the past and start looking objectively at players from 2013 onwards.

My nomination for worst call of 2012 (and funniest thread of the year) is the following discussion that took place after the 6 October Springboks vs All Blacks Test match:

Moffie: Jaco Taute was was at fault for the Conrad Smith try when he rushed inside way too early.

Jalapeno: Ummm . . . that was Francois Hougaard, Moffie, not Taute.

Moffie: Rubbish! Are you trying to say that I can't tell Taute from Hougaard??

Jalapeno: I'm saying it was Francois Hougaard who rushed inside and gave Smith the space to score.

Moffie: But it was still Taute's fault because he was planted!! You don't know what you're talking about!

Jalapeno: "Planted"? How can a player be "planted" and still "rush inside" at the same time?

Moffie: Ummmm . . . you're an idiot, stop trying to change the subject!!!!

Jalapeno: Why can't you just admit you mixed up Hougaard and Taute?

Moffie: HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST I MADE A MISTAKE????? I'M MOFFIE AND I KNOW EVERYTHING!!! IF I SAY YOU CAN PLANT AND RUSH AT THE SAME TIME THEN YOU CAN!!!!!! TAUTE SHOULD NOT HAVE RUSH-PLANTED! THAT WAS WHAT CAUSED THE TRY!!!

Jalapeno: If you say so, but I've never heard of the rush-plant or the plant-rush before. I still don't know how you can rush anywhere if you are planted.

Moffie: That's because you're an idiot!!!!! And you can't even spell "owned"!!! You spelt it "pwned". Hahahahahahahaha, have you got fat fingers, fool?

Jalapeno: Oh dear . . .

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No RooiAAS denying his identity was a total contradiction of his supposed honesty.....I lost what little respect I had for the old coot right there.

Look here Moffie, get this into your stupid head, the fact that I defended Greylings selection if I did at all, does not mean he was my choice now does it?

Are you too stupid to comprehend this fact? I rate Greyling and still do as a player, but no way would I select him ahead of Kitshoff and Marcel v/d Merwe if Coenie and Beast were not available - FACT

So dont lie about my selections, I know who I prefer and who made my squads in 2012. One certainty is that Greyling NEVER made any of my 2012 squads

Not true.....in July Greyling was your man. You even posted something about giving up on him after the NZ debacle. Showing clearly, before that, he was one of your own.

Dont lie Moffie, if that is the case kindly point us to the squads I have selected this year that would have Greyling in it ahead of Kitchoff and v/d Merwe. The posts are all on here if I am not mistaken - proof is in the pudding.

No way in hell would I have selected Greyling ahead of Beast, Coenie, Kitshoff or Marcel v/d Merwe in 2012. He would not have made my squad ahead of Cheetahs Trevor Nkanyane either.

I know my players and who my preferences are.........my list of looseheads would have been compiled from the start of the S15 in Feb.

Go check every squad I have selected in 2012 and I bet on my life you wont find Greyling in there - FACT
