You bare faced liar....when Meyer put Greyling in the squad I strongly questioned that....and you came out strongly in support of Greyling. But hey that's a strategy, when you get it wrong just lie about it.

Rubbish Moffie, I have always rated Greyling as a player and would therefore not have had an issue with him being included in the squad, had Kitshoff, v/d Merwe and Coenie not been available. He is certainly a better call than hasbeens like Steenkamp and CJ.

One certainty is that I, yes I would never have selected Greyling ahead of Kitshoff, Marcel v/d Merwe and Coenie as my back-ups to Beast - FACT, so dont bloody lie about who my selections are.

Greyling was part of my extended squad more than a year ago. No way in hell would he ever feature ahead of Beast and Coenie over that time and certainly not ahead of Kitshoff and v/d Merwe this year.

Only bloody liar here is you. Go check all my selections over 2012 and you wont find Grelying in my squad.

That was the point when I raised the Greyling issue and you strongly defended him. He was in your squad right there. Serial liars usually give themselves away I find.

We all made some bad calls in 2012 and I will add some comments on those:-

*   Morne Steyn at flyhalf - he really was bad this year

*  Taute and  Engelbrecht  at 13

*   De Jongh at 13 - probably the worst call  of all

*   Jantjies at flyhalf

*   Steenkamp and Van der Linde as props

*   Hougaard - even worse than Morne Steyn;

Meyer also made some atorcious selection errors by using the Springbok squad as a revolving door for Bulls players - mostly failures.

Since statistically there are more failures from the existing expereienced players than from the rookies - lets start off this year by not pointing fingers at the past and start looking objectively at players from 2013 onwards.

My nomination for worst call of 2012 (and funniest thread of the year) is the following discussion that took place after the 6 October Springboks vs All Blacks Test match:
