Second test thread
November 23, 2012, 09:53:56

Ek, I see the Proteas are fighting back with Smith leading the way  - what a great player he has been. At this moment in time I would settle for a draw and hope to win the third. We cant win this for sure. We need a big innings - bat all of tomorrow etc.

Terrible that Alviro was runout!

What news of Philander - will he be fit for the third test - we need him.

I hope Tahir adds some value. I think that his days could be numbered if he doesnt take more wickets?

A bigger fan of buff you will not get.

He has been incredulous for us and has won more tests for us than any other batsman since read mission.

His average is right up there with Hayden, sehwag, langer, cook and other modern day openers.

Biff brings the much needed aggression and bite that Polly lacked as a captain.

I really hope he stays on for many more years.

People forgetmtorealise that only kallis has a higher average than smith in the test team.

Beeno , hahe saying it but the edge belongs to Oz at the moment, 550 is a great score and our guys will have to put their heads down and focus. A roll of wickets and things could change very quickly. The ever reliable Smithy will have to score a double ton but he needs support big time. Tahir has failed to impress and I'm starting to to lose patience with him.

Denny I have not wanted to watch this test so far as its been all bad fortune. But tomorrow will be a huge dayand I would like to see something of how it pans out.  I see Kallis dropped down the order- wonder how bad he is.
