Patrick Lambie would.....

be my first choice Bok flyhalf, a fit Goosen would be my second choice. I'm struggling to understand why Meyer has a problem with the lad making the starting line-up and why he isn't his first choice flyhalf.

I quote SS.....

"Meyer must surely see that in Lambie he has a player who has no weaknesses – he is a great decision-maker, a strong kicker out of hand, asks questions of opposing defenders, is a sound distributor and link, kicks his goals under pressure, and undeniably has the temperament for top rugby."

A look at Meyer's poor selections of several Bull's duds it's obvious that he is clueless, that no, he doesn't see  and that under his tenure Lambie's fate has been sealed.

Denny, I really dont think Meyer has been biased towards the bulle. It may have been a bit like that to begin with but not now.

I am just glad Lambie has found his rightful place at flyhalf.

By the way Denny do you still play chess? I remember you whipping ou rooitwit some while ago afte rhe rushed ahead and challenged you to a game. Hahahahaha ou rootwit was so sure he was going to win. Anyway  from what I recall he got his butt kicked!!  Came to mind when watching a Bond movie recently

Yep the non use of Lambie was one of Whineke's big mistakes this year. This kid is a competitor.

I don't reckon Lambie is all that. He is good, and has performed well for the Sharks recently...but NOT always. He is not the Answer to the Springbok's flyhalf issues. Goosen is still definately my candidate for that job...when he has recovered from injury of course. Lambie is fine for the end of year tour, out of a lack of options, but not long term.
