The 2015 AllBlack Pensioner Squad for the WorldCup
October 01, 2012, 16:28:12

So many of the current senior All Blacks want to remain on for the 2015 World Cup. The like of Mccaw and Carter have Sabaticals built into their contracts to lengthen their careers. I say let our young team beat them this weekend, and then really put them away more and more each year until the we retire them all at the 2015 WorldCup

Sound thinking Beeno 10 - you are living up to the name!!

I think we have stolen the march on them in respect of renewal.

Beeno's yeah, you really do need to close the huge win-loss gap that the AB's have over the Boks. And I know the Pre isolation bok win loss ratio will come up...but there's a flaw cause if you add pre and post isolation the AB's are still going to be ahead.

Polyboy, when the 2015 team are put into an old age home by the Springboks they will have plenty of time to be reminiscent about the good old times.

Interesting point Beeno 10. It makes on e realise that a big win is not what we want. Keep the delusion going while we happily progress with renewal.

Beeno 10

The average age of the present All Black team is 29,9 years.   That means that by 2015 it would be 33 years -unless some players are changed.   The forwards average age would then be 35,    I have written repeatedly about the issue - but since McCaw and Carter are high on the list of rugby "geriatrics" - they make some comments about younger players - but there is no chance that they want to change them,   A series of losses may change the present situation - though.

Beeno10  even from the retirement home the AB's would be too much for the Boks, hell they'll play in wheelchairs just to even it up and give em 15 points....and still win.
