RE: Taute selection shows no faith in Lambie??

Boklogic sorry - I misread your comments. Meyer made some serious selection errors - the worst of which has proven to be Morne Steyn and Kirchner - coupled to the Greyling diaster . The latter two are really clueless. Although Meyer stuck with him and Morne Steyn - the fiasco by Kirchner in the test in Dunedin must have convinced him that Krichner is no good - if it did not Meyer selection practices is a lost course. The other priceless inclusion in the squad is Jantjies. With his inlcusion is meant that Morne will be retained as flyhalf - with Goosen on the bench. If Meyer ever had plans to drop Kirchner and Morne Steyn - then he would have left them out of the squad. Jantjies has too many bad elements in his game and cannot be selected for higher honours - bad news that one. I am not sure what his intentions are with Taute - whether he is going to be on th bench to cover wing and center, but he can also cover the full back position.. Taute is a promising player - but unprooven as yet on higher level. But he is young and can develop - so lets hope for the best. If I was in a position to avise Meyer - my first advice is to get both Morne Steyn out of the squad and also Jantjies - but that may be asking too much within the climate where SARU opertes in. By the way Zane played in 75 minutesin each test and manage to buhher up 74 minutes of those - the latter being good motivation to get rid of him.
