This would be a great team to take on the Northern Hemisphere in a NORTH vs SOUTH

 Yes saw that last night, Great team, although i don't really agree with Dan Carter there I would have gone for either Cruden or Goosen. but the rest I am okay with.

apparently the producers also had an input on that team and tony jhonstone was overruled in a few positions.

i agree cruden by far has been the form 10 of the comp, even more then goosen, hes played every game for the chiefs as well as two All Black apperances, got a storng feeling that this is one position where tony was overruled.

also sona taumalolo is in way better form then beast who missed over half the season.

basson over habana, u must be joking, theres no way u can watch the stormers games and not say that haban is the form winger of not just spXV but at the moment the world.

Well said there sasue because ou snapster wants to ditch Habana for some youngster or other.

Surprised to see Beast there and Etzebeth. Etzebeth will be the guy to consider but not quite yet.

Conrad smith - that plodder!!!!  Carter is fine by me he has the smarts. Goosen gentlemen is an under 21 flyhalf ? He has to have some time to develop before replacing guys like Carter.

I was about to write something on this issue - but radtad beat me to it.   I do believe that there has been a degree of bias in this case.   Lets look at the individual players involved:-

15   Do not agree about Taylor at all.   Dagg played well - but I would prefer Lambie.  Much better in defence than the other two mentioned

Wings : fully agree with Sasu about the Habana issue - I do not think that Basson is better than Habana

Centers - No problem - but SBW has shown nothing in the last few games.   Francois Steyn comes into the picture as well - but he only played two games

Flyhalf  -  Carter played well in the games after his return - but I prefer Cruden ahead of him.   Goosen also.  The latter played in a rather weak franchise compared to the other two mentioned and he was on par with them or even better than them.

Scrummie - No problem

No 8 - Kieran Reid - OK

No 7 -  Pocock played in a weak team - but has class.  probably the best on show

No 6  -  Coetzee is a star - so no problem

No 5  -  Whitelock - they really must be kidding.   I will have Bekker ahead of him all the time.

No 4  -  Etzebeth - no problem

Props - I do not think the Beast should be in the make-up.   Good - but not good enough

Hooker - no question about that one.   

I think that in the case of Carter and Whitelock there definitely was a degree of bias.   Am surprised they did not pick McCaw as well, but the latter was not as good as he used to be this year.  

Basson was put in there based upon his form and also being the highest try scorer against the likes of Habana and Hose Gear Julian Savea whom alll have played well but Basson had the runs on the board.

I actually think the Taylor is very similar to Dagg and I disagree mike that Lambie has it over either of these two as they have an Xfactor that Lambie doesnt posses well thats my opinon anyway

Carter is fine by me hes looked pretty solid and is kicking well and Cruden when it matters at the end of the season has gone missing a bit when it matters - Goosen I am afraid needs a full season yet

I agree about Whitelock he is a crap lock and I dont rate him at all Bekkers only downfall has obviously been his tenure on he field, but he is the new Matfield

There really isnt any other 12 other than maybe Nonu of late that has shown any form Frans Steyn cant be included so the panel really werent being biased I dont think

Conrad Smith is that player that is annoyingly good and always in the right place at the right time but hes a weedy wirey little pprick that gets in your face hence why he was picked- I think they rate his linking as the key reason

Beast????I like the Beast hes played well but yes there does appear to be other that have shown just as good a form
